Unacceptable Proposal Threatens Our Greensboro Community
The very essence of our beloved Greensboro community is under a severe threat. A new proposal, brazen in its disregard for our cherished neighborhood values, has been audaciously presented to the Greensboro Zoning and Planning Commission. Glenn Drew, in a move that prioritizes profit over people, has revealed a plan that could irrevocably damage the character of our community, pushing a vision that stands in stark contrast to the harmonious balance we’ve worked so hard to maintain. This isn’t just an assault on property boundaries—it’s an attack on the heart of Greensboro.

Glenn Drew has once again proven his complete disregard for the essence of our community. This is, without a doubt, the most infuriating plan he has ever presented.
Gone is the respect for our single-family homes and desired setbacks. Instead, he blatantly proposes:
- A staggering 22-unit townhome complex.
- The building height proposed for 45 Feet which could be a 3-story building
- A mere 35-foot setback from Friendly Avenue, completely out of line with the character of our neighborhood.
- A retention area is blatantly positioned at the front, just a few feet away from Friendly Avenue.
- The addition of twin homes, crammed together, ruining the aesthetic of our community.
This is NOT the Greensboro we know and love.
It’s time to rise and unite against this outrageous affront to our community values. We cannot and will not let Glenn Drew’s profit-driven agenda tarnish our cherished neighborhood. Join us in taking immediate action to ensure our voices are heard and this plan is thrown out.
